Comment / observation

  • Cayman Islands: Made high-level commitment but still needs imposing sanctions for parties not provide correct/timely info.
  • Countries not on EU high-risk list: Albania, Gibraltar
  • Additional countries on EU high-risk list: Afghanistan, Trinidad and Tobago, United Arab Emirates and Vanuatu

Actions

Monitor the jurisdictions with strategic deficiencies closely and classify these properly for AML/KYC based on risk appetite.
